The Restorative module guides participants through the complete digital workflow for restorations on implants and natural teeth. From intraoral scanning to CAD design and 3D printing, the course includes hands-on sessions with iTero, Dexis, and 3Shape scanners, overlay/onlay design, single implant crowns, temporary bridges, and surgical guides. Ideal for dentists and technicians aiming to master restorative digital technologies.

  • SprintRay 3D printers with dedicated resins for models, provisionals, guides, splints, and prosthetic restorations.
  • Polymerizers and washing sets with isopropyl alcohol, Ti-base abutment sets, analogs, screws; light-curing resins for characterization; polishing kit.
  • 1 computer workstation with exocad per participant.

Day 1 — Advanced CAD Design

09:00–10:30 Smile Design and Digital Mock-up

2D/3D photo integration;
dental libraries (Exocad);
diagnostic wax-up and esthetic validation.
Hands on: smile design.

11:00–13:00 Veneer Design

Preparation protocols;
minimum thicknesses;
margin and contact point management;
material selection.
Hands on: veneer set-up design.

14:00–16:00 Inlay/Onlay/Overlay Design

Occlusal analysis;
cavity design;
undercut management;
margin sealing.
Hands on: inlay and onlay design.

16:30–18:00 3D Printing of Models and Provisional Restorations

Castable resins and resins for provisionals;
precision and calibration;
thin support management.
Hands on: slicing and mock-up printing.

Day 2 — Finalization and Cementation

09:00–10:30 Post-Processing of Printed Restorations

Precision washing;
controlled polymerization (material protocols);
support removal from restorations.
Hands on: finishing printed veneers.

11:00–13:00 Characterization Techniques (Esthetic Color)

Use of light-curing stains and super-colors;
surface texturing (micro and macro).
Hands on: characterization of veneer set.

14:00–16:00 Adhesive Cementation Protocols

Surface preparation (ceramic, composite);
cement selection;
field isolation;
finishing and polishing.
Hands on: cementation on model.

16:30–18:00 Management of Complex Cases and Review

Clinical case discussion;
failure management;
Q&A.
Certificate delivery.

Day 3 — Half Day (Morning Session)

09:00–13:00 Final Practical Session and Q&A

Practical application of cementation and finishing protocols. Discussion of participants' cases.
