This course is designed to provide participants with the skills to manage the entire digital workflow for single restorations. From proper tooth preparation to intraoral scanning, through CAD design to the finalization of the restoration with 3D printing.

  • 3 types of intraoral scanners (Dexis/TRIOS/iTero) – 1 per participant.
  • SprintRay 3D printers with dedicated resins for models, provisionals, guides, bite splints, and prosthetic restorations.
  • UV curing units and IPA washing sets, Ti-base abutments, analogs, screws; photopolymerizable resins for characterization; polishing kits.

Day 1 — Digital Workflow

08:30–09:00 Introduction and Welcome

Participant registration, course overview, learning objectives, and material distribution.

09:00–10:00 Lecture – Intraoral Scanning Technologies

Overview of TRIOS, iTero, and Dexis scanners;
advantages and limitations;
selection criteria based on clinical cases.

10:00–10:45 Hands-on – Participant Scanning

Practical session with TRIOS and iTero scanners;
Dexis demonstration at the booth;
full arch and quadrant acquisition.

10:45–11:15 Coffee Break

Refreshments and networking.

11:15–12:00 CAD Design – Surgical Guide

Guided creation of a surgical guide using CAD software;
clinical parameters and design settings.

12:00–13:00 3D Printing and Sleeve Cementation

File preparation and printing of the guide;
sleeve cementation and UV curing.

13:00–14:00 Lunch Break

Free or partnered lunch options.

14:00–14:30 Lecture – Anterior Implant Crown

CAD design of anterior crown on implant;
aesthetic and functional considerations.

14:30–15:45 Hands-on – T-base Cementation

Characterization and cementation on anterior model;
Ti-base and photopolymer resin application.

15:45–16:15 Coffee Break

Refreshments and networking.

16:15–18:00 Hands-on – Full Arch Characterization

Advanced characterization techniques;
application on full arch model;
glazing and finishing.

Day 2 — Practical Applications

09:00–10:00 Digital Acquisition and Mock-up

Patient scan acquisition;
aesthetic mock-up design;
functional evaluation.

10:00–10:45 Hands-on – Central Tooth Characterization

Practical session on central tooth;
coloring and finishing techniques.

10:45–11:15 Coffee Break

Refreshments and networking.

11:15–12:15 Lecture – Overlay, Single Crown, and Bridge

Aesthetic overlay design;
single crown on natural tooth;
bridge with pontic element.

12:15–13:00 Hands-on – Overlay Characterization and Certificate Delivery

Overlay coloring and finishing;
final discussion and certificate handout.
